Common questions
Do I have to become a member?
No. The Home Safety Inspection is available for £99.99 as a one off service with no membership required.
What's the difference between the inspection and membership?
The £99.99 service is a one off inspection. Member adds the annual inspection, monthly smoke alarm reminders, quarterly RCD reminders, priority booking and a 5% electrical work discount. Member Plus adds enhanced support and a 10% discount.
How long is membership?
HomeCare Member and HomeCare Member Plus are 12 month memberships paid monthly. Full renewal and cancellation details should link to the HomeCare Terms & Conditions.
What does dedicated WhatsApp support include?
Member Plus customers can send day to day electrical questions, photos or videos to the team for advice during normal working hours. It is not an emergency service and some issues will require an on site inspection.
Are repairs or visits included?
No free repair visits are included. Where electrical work is recommended or requested, members receive the applicable 5% or 10% discount on qualifying electrical work.
What happens if the inspection identifies a problem?
We'll explain what has been identified, why it matters and what we recommend. You remain in control of whether to proceed with any remedial work.
