What We Inspect | Kford HomeCare Home Safety Inspection

What do we photograph?

Photographs create a useful visual record of the condition of key safety items at the time of inspection. Images are added to your digital Home Safety Report where relevant.

What happens during the visit?

1

We confirm the customer, property details and that the areas needed for the inspection are accessible.

2

Inspection & testing

Your engineer works through the inspection in a structured order, recording results directly into the Kford HomeCare app.

3

Photographs & findings

Key safety items and any relevant concerns are photographed and attached to the inspection record.

4

Your report

Your digital Home Safety Report records what was checked, what we found and any recommended next steps.

A report you can actually understand

The aim is not to hand you pages of unexplained technical information. Your report is designed to give you a clear record of the important safety items checked in your home.

Where something needs attention, we record it and explain the recommended next step. You remain in control of whether you want any remedial work carried out.

Your report can include:
  • Inspection date and property details
  • Consumer unit details and safety features
  • RCD protection information
  • Smoke, heat and CO alarm records
  • Photographs of key items and findings
  • Overall inspection outcome
  • Recommended remedial work
